A practicing attorney killed the initial intake premise. I rebuilt around the actual discovery/document job: ingestion, OCR fallback, source quality, conflicts, provenance, evidence gates, and a Clio-ready integration plan.
Case study →A LiveKit/Next.js speaking-practice product designed around speaking confidence. Working software, direct school sourcing, a stakeholder meeting, and verbal agreement for a free pilot; the pilot has not been executed.
Product story →I left a Staff PM role and spent the year getting materially closer to implementation: building systems, reading and verifying code, designing tests and failure boundaries, and learning where model-generated implementation needs stronger architecture around it.
